Open Source Product Security Engineer

As a part of our team you will:

  • Take technical ownership of security deliverables regarding our products
  • Perform?continuous security testing and vulnerability assessments
  • Identify, triage and facilitate the resolution of found security vulnerabilities
  • Consult and educate team members on secure coding practices
  • Conduct threat modelling for new features and architectural changes
  • Maintain and update security guidelines and internal procedures
  • Implement security tools and automation to improve security processes
  • Integrate security checks and gateways as a core component of the CI/CD pipeline

What we expect:

  • Relevant education in cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience as a Software Security Engineer,?Application Security Engineer or a background in Software Development or QA, combined with a strong passion for advancing your career in software product security
  • Experience within software development environments (e.g., C, C++, PHP, JavaScript, Go)
  • Strong analytical and self-management skills
  • Excellent cooperation and collaboration skills
  • Hands-on skills within web application security
  • Understanding of the Secure SDLC process - DevSecOps
  • Experience working with Unix/Linux systems
  • Certifications like CSSLP, CEH, OSCP or eWPT?are considered as advantage
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written
